BILL'S WAXWORK FINGER GOES MISSING - "WER BEKLAUT DIE WACHS-PROMIS?" - BILD.DE ! ♥

It's been a while since we've seen our favorite German Rockers, Tom and Bill Kaulitz, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer and I know we're all on the edge waiting to hear their new material but looks like it's all heading our way very soon according to Tokio Hotel's official US website!

The boys haven't really been performing much lately but that’s because they moved to Los Angeles and are spending night and day in the studio to work on their new album which is to release in Spring 2012!

Tokio Hotel are a groundbreaking and unique band and always deliver, that's what's got fans across the globe going crazy over them.

Their first album as Tokio Hotel, Schrei, sold more than half a million copies worldwide, their second German album Zimmer 483 and their first English album Scream which have combined album sales of over one million copies worldwide. There's no doubt this album will follow their successful trend.

SCANS & TRANSLATION - INROCK #333 ! ♥

Now, this is the first time that I have my life, not being Tokio Hotel. (Bill)

Scans & Translation: THCN
It's an award for fans, right? It means that your fans are the best?
Bill & Tom:
Yes!
Bill: It's an award for fans! Our fans are from foreign countries (Outside America), still we won the award, it's cool!!
And, there's one more important thing. A few months ago, you guys had beaten of a lot of big artists and win the MTV O Music Award? It's great, can you talk about this?
Tom:
Yes. Now, we're about to compose our mind and stay in the studio, we were not interviewed often, we are surprised! Even in such period, fans vote for us.
Bill: We didn't expect to it!
Tom: We even didn't know that we were nominated, after knowing that, we just thought that "it's great, but this is O Award, we won't win it".
Bill: It's really unexpected. In the past, when we won Headliner (6: EMA in 2008), and many other awards, we didn't feel the sense of reality... These all are achieved by our fans, for us. We are really proud of our fans, they support us greatly. Now, we don't have tour, just have our production in the studio, but still we won the award, we are really happy! It's really cool!
It's great that you guys are safe!!
Bill & Tom:
Yeah..*laugh* There's such story.
You guys has shot another video?
Bill:
Yeah, shot in Cape Town that one. Don't watch the German version, I really don't like it!
Really?
Bill:
Yes, though it's part of our history, I don't think we had made a good video, so I'm not that like it. But it's our starting point.
You were so cute in that video! I have watched it for a few times.
Tom:
*laugh* You have watched the whole?
Bill: Yap, we had his video, then a few years later, we shot the English version in Cape Town. It's a love song!
Tom: We were on an helicopter in the English version, after the shoot of the video, the helicopter was broken down.
Bill: It seems that it can no longer be manned.
Tom: We didn't know this, and we got on it. The shot goes well, but it's broken down a few days later.
Bill: It's too old, that there's even no license saying that it can be manned.
*grin* By the way, your next single for radio is the great hit song "Monsoon". It's a new song here, in Japan. Can you tell us some stories about this song?
Bill:
Yes. This is one of our first recording song by Tokio Hotel. It's in our first album, our first single in Germany, and the start of everything, so it's an important song, full of our memories. It fulfill our dreams, fans love this song. And "Monsoon" is also the most viewed video... We have brought this song to many countries. We have lots of memories in this song. We have also made a really beautiful video! Of course, it's an old song now...
But, isn't it inconvenient to carry such big ring?
Bill:
No, I love accessories. I have lots of accessories, a crazy number of accessories. There are chains, rings and other accessories. I have lots of accessories in my closet, a few thousands of them.
'Cause we had asked from Tom that you bought lots of things there. *grin* (6: From InRock #326)
Bill:
Yap, that's my favourite place in Los Angeles.
From Melrose Avenue, right? (editor: Los Angeles' most fashionable street, with lots of secondhand clotheses store and characteristic fashion stores.)
Bill:
Yes, from Melrose Avenue! You know it.
I see. By the way, your ring is really marvelous! Can you introduce to us? (there are a few rings, they nearly hide Bill's finger. It seems that the rings have gimmicks)
Bill:
This one? I brought this from Los Angeles' secondhand clotheses store, it seems that it was originally an old watch.
You guys are all perfectionists. *grin*
Bill:
Yap, as we are perfectionists, we want to write music with high quality. In the recent music industry, there are many people treat quality as minor, we want some bands creating music of high quality.
Could you guys upload the first 20 seconds of one of the song on Internet?
Tom:
*grin* There are too many songs for free nowadays.
Okay...*grin*
Bill:
But if we are 100% satisfied with our work, we will share with our fans.
Tom: Yap, conversely, if we are not 100% satisfied with our work, we will absolutely not make it public.
Where do you guys get inspiration from for your songs recently?
Bill:
Tom and I get all the inspiration from our life. Now, this is the first time that I have my life, not being Tokio Hotel. We are always touring, and grew up in the eye of public, it might be the first time that we can live and keep our privacy. So we try to challenge everything that we couldn't do in the past, this way of life is new to us, not touring. So, now, we get our inspiration from whom we met and our life. And movie. We like watching movie.
Tom: Also, time is important. Having enough time inspires us a lot. We live with our own lifestyle, have few weeks doing nothing. I think is really great. Songs that we bring to our fans is certainly great.
Bill: The most important thing is that we don't have pressure. The date of release of our next album is not decided, to us, this is important. We are not a band that will release an album annually. We are kind of free. As we think that ideas come to our mind spontaneously, we may have to spend 2, 3 or 4 years for an album, so we don't know when will our new album be finished. We will spend as much time as we like on it, this is important.

If we are not 100% satisfied with our work, we will absolutely not make it public. (Tom)
You're right. So far, how many songs have you guys written?
Tom:
If you are talking about the number of songs, the number is enough for us to go to the studio. But we don't want this. We will keep on writing songs and write down our ideas, production keeps on...
Bill: We can't tell you exactly how many songs we have written. In our laptop, there are a lot of songs we wrote since 2000. We have taken some songs from there and made some modifications. It's difficult to say exactly how many songs we have written. Anyway, we have written many songs, a mountain of songs.
Tom: One day, inside this mountain, we will think that "Ok, we are ready!". At that time, there're songs that can be combined into an album.
Bill: There are some songs that I don't like after recording.
I see. So, you guys are working on your new album?
Bill & Tom:
Yes!
You guys are stars, there are many people admire your music and existence, right? Do you guys think that it's destiny.
Bill:
Yeah, it can only be destiny. We have talked about this in many interview, that we are saved by music, in many ways. We, not only immerse ourselves in our music, but also in many other music. When we are sad, we will go to party, we listen to different music according to the atmosphere. Also, we create our own music, we are inspired by a lot of stories, and write our songs, this is the way which can solve our problem best. Everything around us is our inspiration. For us, music is a therapy, it works in different way. We will be happy if we can play such role. Though we are amazed that fans value us, we are really happy that they need our band.
After the earthquake disaster, many Japanese start thinking about their lives and destinies. Do you have anything that you think that you must do in your life? What's in your mind when disaster comes?
Tom:
Yes, I think that when something like that happens, a great impact will be made on everyone, all over the world. It happens so quickly, just in an instant, you can actually feel the terror of Nature.
Bill: Life is really fragile... I'm really scared.
Tom: The earthquake has changed the life of people all over the world. We all reflect on our life. There're so many people being killed, people all feel heartbreaking, so people is affected, for no reason.
What will you guys do?
Bill:
If there's any chance, we will grasp it with joy. For this time's MTV, there're really a lot of artists gathered together to show their support. I think that's really great. The scene of many people holding together for the same purpose is nice.
Also, you guys will have a collaboration with Germany's football team player Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund's midfielder Shinji Kagawa), right?
Bill:
Yes, we met him a lot recently. Although he says "I'm not that familiar with football...", he's really a nice guy.
Your fans have also done something, right?
Bill:
Yes, in order to raise money for Japanese Red Cross Society, we have designed some buttons, and many fans bought these buttons. I'm really happy to see fans helping us.
It's graceful that you guys could go back safely.
Bill:
Yes, of course, but we really love this country, we like Tokyo the best, so we treat Tokyo's matter as our matter. As the earthquake is really shocking, we think that, we will do anything if they need us, we want to show our support to Japan! So we are really happy that we can raise money for Japanese Red Cross Society with MTV.
*laugh* Let's back to our subject. First, I would like to thank you guys for supporting victims in Tohoku and Fukushima. You guys have done a lot of work in helping them?
Bill:
Yes. When we heard of the earthquake, we were really shocked, since we just came back from Japan a few weeks before the earthquake.
Okay, but I just can't imagine that Bill has such side.
Bill:
*laugh* No, no, I am the same as everyone, I grow beard.
Tom: Even I am the twin brother, I am shocked! In the morning, when I saw this guy's face, I was just like "What's happening to this face!? This is not Bill!". I'm really openmouthed. *laugh*
Bill: *laugh* But the worst thing is that I'm bored by myself, so I always change my look.
Tom: Just go out with your natural beauty. *grin* Hey, do I look old?
Bill: You are just 21, so it's okay, isn't it?
Tom: Yes, it's okay. If I wear a beard, I look like 21, right? I'm no longer 16, 17 years old.
Don't say something like that, don't you care about your look and styling all the time?
Bill:
You're right, but I'm also human being, the same as everyone! *grin*
...well, what can I say... *grin*
Bill & Tom:
*laugh*
Tom: I'm as beautiful as usual, right *grin*? Well...I think that beard can hide my rough skin. Should I continue to expose my rough skin, as Bill does so, or should I grow a beard to cover it? I chose the later one.
Gustav: Even you do so, you are as beautiful as usual! *grin*
Tom: Right? *grins*
Bill: But, for Tom and I, it's not a big deal. I'm a bit lazy in the morning, I also grow beard, the same as everyone. If it is okay for me not to shave off my beard, of course, this way is always easier.
Tom: Gustav got chest hair! *laugh*
Bill: Yeah, chest hair! *laugh*

In the morning, when I saw Bill's face with beard, I was shocked, even I am the twin brother... (Tom)
*laugh* Right. But the look of you guys is part of the image of Tokio Hotel, to fans, it's a great deal.
Bill:
You're right. For us, it's completely normal, but for fans, it's big problem, it's strange.
By the way, Tom, what's happening to your beard? Fans are talking about it!
Tom:
You don't like it? *laugh*
Having mini live at Audi Forum Tokyo. From left to right: Georg Listing, Tom Kaulitz, Bill Kaulitz, Gustav Schäfer.

Tokio Hotel visit Japan for MTV's VIDEO AID JAPAN (hereafter referred to VMAJ). In our last issue, we published our close coverage and photos of Tokio Hotel, this time, we will publish their interview. We haven't met Kaulitz brothers for three months, they are still handsome, but Tom has wear a thin beard. Though they are twins, you can distinguish them from their image. Bill has shown up with beard in an award, it seems that fans are shocked. And, this time, apart from VMAJ, Tokio Hotel has also done mini live in Audi's Showroom. There're a lot of fans saying that they can't wait to enjoy a normal concert. "It doesn't matter how much money you can spend, only those, who have won the tickets, can attend this live. It's hard." said the fans. According to Germany's staff, Japan's promoter has contacted them for a few times, the band's also full of drive. It may not be a long way to fulfill fans' wish...?
Japan's summer is humid, right?
Bill:
Yap, it's really hard that you have to work under such weather. I don't care if we are in vacation, and relax for the whole day.
Tom: But it's better than cold!
Bill: Surely, it's better than winter.

"Tokio-Hotel"-Gitarrist Tom Kaulitz liebt philippinische Schönheitskönigin Ria Sommerfeld

BILD.DE - TOKIO GAGA - [26/06/11] ! ♥

Translation:

This is how Tokio Gaga looks!
BILL KAULITZ MIGHT BE CONFUSED WITH LADY GAGA
It may be idle to tell you another truism, but: There's no accounting for taste.
However, at the sight of Lady Gaga, 25, and Bill Kaulitz, 21, you can indisputably notice: Their outfits are an eyecatcher once again!
Whilst Gaga went around dressed up rather like a boy, despite her ultra-ultra-high-heels and golden-studded leather vest, Bill seemed like a Miss Kaulitz.
Anyway, both were the highlight of the evening at the "MTV Awards" near Tokyo - other stars didn't dare to come to Tokyo because of the nuclear disaster.
Insofar we tell you very loud: The courage suits you well!

Bravo: Well, thank God! My dogs are you today, too, was brought to Moscow?
Bill: Unfortunately, no ... They stayed at home. Last year we took our two large dogs (German Shorthair and Labrador) on tour. But in Mo ¬ skve us for long, so do not like to once again Nervi ¬ rovat dogs. For them, the re ¬ years - it's always stressful. If I could change the rules, the gap-sewed all the animals would travel in the passenger compartment of the aircraft. And during the tour we went on the bus and the dog slept with me in bed!

Bravo: Bill, much ado has done a video on the Net, where you show up with a beard. It was a real beard?
Tom: No, it's post-production! He painted it afterwards on the computer. (All laugh).
Bill: You might be surprised, but I'm also growing a beard! Do not expect that my stubble look cause such a stir. The camera was not very good, and I thought that no one who can not make out. I generally go home always unshaven. And if you need to dress up, then shave.

Bravo: Yes, people with a sick imagination of many. And what was the last event of the meeting with inappropriate people?
Bill: The last horrible incident was when they robbed my apartment in Germany. Because of this ¬ first case we are left in the U.S. and now live in Los Angeles. Because in Europe it is very difficult - some people are crazy, they just mania. They are ready for anything. Among them there are surely those crazy, to ¬ torye tvintsestom do. (Laughs). At some point we realized that 24 hours we have to be under the supervision of security, and such a life has become unbearable ...

George: Make the intimate haircut in the salon ... (All laugh).
Bill: Especially cool that in the U.S. are su ¬ permarkety open 24 hours a day!
Tom: But even there, we're pretty detached live. Still, 100%, we can not be free ¬ mi. Most of the time we spend at home.

Finally Tokio Hotel has arrived in Japan! Although they are super star in Europe, it is their first time to come to Japan. On the first day in Japan, with the support of German embassy Tokio Hotel became to be a goodwill ambassador, in order to commemorate the 150th anniversary of restored diplomatic relation between Germany and Japan and let Japanese know more about German culture. Of course, they were promoting themselves as well. The people in charge of schedule set a devilish tight schedule for them, and he said: "This band wants to have a successful start in Japan. I think there will be no doubt." So four members in the band began to make up since 9 o'clock, no complain at all for 12 hours, they kept working.

From the first day, Dec. 12th, to the interviews with In Rock, their idle time was almost zero. The manager said: "After all the interviews, all the stores had closed. So TH was looking forward to the interview in Harajuku. Although it's raining, we will be there definitely. But they may go shopping until next Japan Trip." The band was really in a high mood to go promotion.

Could such a band fulfill their keen wish? It began raining since the early morning. Fortunately, it stopped till the shooting and became cloudy. Finally we could go out.
In the hotel lobby, we met two fans that came from France. They followed TH all the way more than ever. At last, 8 people including me, set out in two Benzs with smoke-glass that the band prepared. In Europe Audi sponsors TH, so no matter where they go they have Audi. But Japan is not on the list, so they drive Benzs in Japan. However, the Benz matched up with Bill's luxurious temperament well.

For 5 days 4 nights trip, Bill and Tom took 7 suitcases filled with clotheses. Bill changed his cloth depending on each event. The day before, Bill wore some military look clotheses, with a Grenade type hairstyle. Is the theme for today's interview leisure lady? Bill never wears fur clothing, because he wants to support PETA. He preferred to wear fake fur clothing with good quality. Though Bill had to change poses for the cameras, he smiled a lot because he was together with his members. His smile could be laugh sometimes. Comparing to his serious face for the cameras, at this moment, his eased face was very cute.
Tokio Hotel in Harajuku
We got off the car in front of Louis Vitton in Harajuku and planned to go to Meiji shrine through the Takesita channel. But we didn't succeed in 3 minutes, until all the people came into a personalized shop named Santa Monica. So was the stylist. Within 20 minutes, Bill tried on and bought two shirt and stadium jumper. He paid 32000 yen with his Platinum Card (Notes: the membership fee of this card was not public, but it should be tens of thousands of yen.). Tom didn't buy anything and came out early, saying: "Bill is always like this." with a dry smile. Both of them would enter stores like "I would like to go to Shibuya more than here, the Shibuya crossing!" The manager heard about this and caught a glimpse of his watch. We probably didn't have time to go to Shibuya due to their home returning on 16th. But as long as they wanted to go, we decided to shorten the lunch time and go to Shibuya through Takesita channel. These four people standing in the crossing were busy with taking photos. We could even see their wrought-up expression on their faces. Then a sudden scream reached their ears, because they were recognized by their fans. Bill and Tom have been eager to going to Shibuya for a long time, but this time they might...? How lucky the fans were! Even so, the band noticed it was a little bit late for the schedule. So they got on the Benz with smoke-glass immediately. However, the fans were still every excited. After all, fans were most precious!
Zeal!!!
Reports from chief director K Sir!
Tokio Hotel's soul devoted Japan Trip
Preface:I didn't have too much to report before TH came over. More than two years after they planned to come to Japan last time, the live performance has not been confirmed yet. This event was a formal debut for TH in a special country. Three years ago, they cancelled their first Japan Trip, which made their fans cry regrettably and sadly. So I felt so stressful because the trip for this time was full of TH and fans' enthusiasm. The album has not been released yet, so all the people put their hands up to deliver their wishes and hoped to buy the album as soon as possible. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank TH and fans sincerely.
Dec. 12th Sunny
Tokio Hotel arrived at Narita airport 11 AM. Gustav and Georg arrived early. Almost 30 fans were waiting for them. I bought some drinking for the band members and staff and stood in a slightly far place. I made friends with the fans waiting there, so I also became very nervous. The flight arrived on time. Finally as these two people pushed the carts, they showed up in the crowd. The exclusive secretary followed them closely and broke a path for them to make sure they could get on the prepared car. Gustav was called "little G" by his fans, even at the airport they were not shy to call him in a lovely voice.
After checking the schedule in hotel, I came to Narita airport again to welcome the soul leader - Bill and Tom, the identical twin brothers. The flight from LA was supposed to arrive at 6 PM, fans have gathered at the airport before 5 PM. The amount of the fans was several times more than that of early morning. The long-waited fans became nervous and calm down after they knew Bill and Tom have already arrived 30 minutes early. The secretary of the twin brothers entered the passageway to check their status. Fans standing near the exit started to scream one by one. It took three years for TH to come to Japan. Bill and Tom walked out from the exit and signed their names with their signature pens. All the fans nearly lost their rationality and gathered at the end of the guard bar. Their secretary broke a path for them and I helped to keep order at the very beginning. But we could not move forward at all. Bill and Tom tried their best to be kind to their fans without annoyed looking on their faces. The fans waiting at the parking lot sung "Durch den Monsun" together. At that moment, Bill and Tom smiled happily. As Bill waved his hands, he got on the car. So did Tom. The touching scene just now was incredibly fervent, which must build some unforgettable memories in fans' mind, I think. (By the way, the cars were sponsored by Mercedes-Benz Germany.) Later on, the band members and the staff went to the hotel and had a rest.
Dec. 13th Rainy
The promotion began from 11 AM to 8.30 PM. Lunch time was about one hour and a half, so they could have a wonderful lunch. The staff got to the hotel room one hour early to prepare, in order to make sure everything was alright during the interview. They prepared all kinds of food, such as water, cola (original, low calorie), red bull, coffee and chocolate cake (not Brownie, but almond chocolate cake). All of food was taken from abroad. The following interviews began as schedule. The band members needed to prepare makeup and clothing two hours early before the first interview, so they had to get up early. After a long interview, TH went to the party that Universal Music held in a Japanese food restaurant in Nishi-Azabu. The vegetarian food had been ordered in advance, so the party was going well. We prepared the fork and knife for Bill in case he could not use chopsticks well to pick up potatoes. Gustav and Georg were very happy to eat fried chicken and beef barbecue. The food looked tasty. The most surprising thing is that Bill and Tom ate some fried shrimps. Finally we knew that they sometimes ate some crustacean food. It was quite lucky to see this with my eyes. Although the party time was short, I guessed all the staff and the band members got much closer. At last, the young staff paid the bill and the band had a very satisfied diner. The party was over.
Dec. 14th Rainy to cloudy
All the band members (or Bill only) got up early to get prepared. The band members entered the interview room at 11.45 AM. When we met Bill, we really wanted to say to Bill: "Bill, you are so early!" and he wore gorgeous clothing. The first interviewer was NHK education (in German), but it seemed that they didn't have many questions. Then TH went to Omotesando in two Benzs and service wagon to receive the interview with In Rock! I felt thrilled watching Bill walk leisurely in Omotesando. All the band members wanted to go to fashion center and have a look, so they couldn't help it. We got off the cars in front of Louis Vittion. Some passengers saw the unusual scene as well. (Please refer to the details about interview in Harajuku above.) After the interview, TH got back to the hotel and had lunch. Their lunch was pasta with tomato sauce.
At 4 PM, the rest part of promotion got started. There were three radio interviews, five interviews including TV, magazines and music magazines. The end time for these interviews was 8.35 PM. Each member showed up in interview room with smiles, no tired look at all. The manager who took charge of the trip asked us to find some skating rinks. He probably heard something about what TH wanted to in Tokyo from someone else. Though we asked the hotel staff to help us, we didn't have much time. Finally we did not take TH to a skating rink, but we promised that next time we must go there.
Dec. 15th Sunny
Today TH will have their show case in Japan. Tokio Hotel refused some interviews, because they wanted to focus on the show case.
TH finished the interview in the company just after 12 o'clock. They were a little bit late, but it was all for meeting with In Rock selected fans. Then they went to the Akasaka Blitz where the show case was held. After rehearsal, they had a late lunch at 4 PM, including pizza, pasta, ordinary vegetable sushi (prepared for Bill and Tom). They all ate their favorite food before the show case. Gustav looked like that he loved pizza very much. Till one hour before the show case started, the door of Gustav and Georg's room was open all the time, just having a look, we found that they were doing the hair brushing. And then we understood that on the stage their fresh hair was done like this. In the end, the show case was over. Although the show case was a small one, they absolutely demonstrated their talent for piano. In the show case, they played 9 songs for the audiences. The clotheses Bill wore in the performance were sponsored by Italian brand - Dsquared2 (The brand was created by two Canadian twin designers). It was said that TH did not take their LED equipments this time, because the equipments were too heavy. But they promised that they would play them next time for Japanese fans. Our company gave TH Getas as presents. They said they had never received presents like this, they were very happy. TH did not go out the last night. As usual, they went back to the hotel and got ready to leave the next day. Accidentally some fans found the place where TH lived in Japan and they came over. Some of them wanted to give them presents, some of them wanted to take photos with them. However, TH did not feel annoyed about this sudden event. In the contrast, they treated them kindly and claimed that their fans were the most fabulous in the whole world.
Dec. 16th Sunny
As most of fans knew, Bill and Tom's second home is in LA. Because in Europe there were some crazy fans like stalkers, they could not live a normal life. But Gustav and Georg would go back to Germany.
Postscript:As the people in charge of TH's project, many people wanted to meet TH or many people wanted to watch their performance, they all asked me for help. I made projects for such a band, so sometimes I was afraid I could not do it well. But in fact the project has just begun. From now on, I wanted to make many good projects to let fans know how attractive Tokio Hotel is and let the people unfamiliar with Tokio Hotel get to know more about them. Tokio Hotel's project was "we have just begun"! Hey everybody, we have just begun!
Tokio Hotel's show case in Akasaka Blitz - Live reports
Reporter: YUKO KATO

"Tokio Hotel will demonstrate their real value in the live performance.", the editorial staff heard from someone. And then they went to the site with hope. As for our magazine's invitation, Tokio Hotel got to the top one in nearly 10 years. We came to our seats among the audiences. Someone said: "Tokio Hotel is not the type that performs in such a place, but they will put on a show to make new history.". They were exactly right. It was said that almost 80000 audiences attended the show in Mexico. Gustav, Georg and Tom came out 10 minutes later than schedule. Suddenly a guy shouted to Gustav, what the hell is that?! Later on Bill in dazzling cloth showed up. He was so gorgeous, but the shape of his ass and his face was unexpectedly diminutive, just like a lady. The costume was all black and sparkling accessories hung from head to foot. After Bill sung "Noise", he took off his tops while he wore a simple T-shirt inside. Then his style was completely changed. Their songs were much more powerful than we imagined before, and the rhythm was also strong. Gustav and Georg gave lots of support to Bill and Tom who appealed the audiences. The balance was good. Like his gorgeous appearance, Bill's voice was also very attractive. This kind of way of singing was too sweet in Rock music, which was exactly the feature of Tokio Hotel. The impact was obviously huge. Looking at Bill's slim figure, all the audiences were lighted up. However, the most impressive one was Tom. He wore a knitted cap, playing his guitar. The audiences were so excited and crazy about Tom like this. The Rock music was never beautiful like this before in my mind. The show case was proceeding for about one hour. Tokio Hotel played "Durch den Monsun" again, which was most popular and gained lots of awards. Bill also put much effort into it. According to audience's enthusiasm, we can predict that Tokio Hotel’s future must be bright and nice.

TU MAGAZINE #1 - CHILE ! ♥

imagebam.com imagebam.com
Translation:
"We'll never forget Chile"

They were in our country for four days, and that was enough to see their talent and also all their friendliness. Here I leave you our last conversation with Bill, Tom, Gustav, and Georg.
By Yolanda Galaz T.

They say that they were terrified at their arrival. Also "they say" that they don't want others to get near them too much. The truth is that what happened at the airport -with so much love from Chilean fans- did catch them off guard, and if they did get a bit frightened, they were left joyous, since they never thought that in a country so far from Germany, they'd have such enthused fans. But the guys understood it, since they are conscious that it is a different culture. Now, that thing about "not wanting others to get near them much", I must say is completely true, and it wasn't easy for fans to get close to them -I saw it myself with some of you with whom I met outside the hotel- And it was such the protection that Tokio Hotel had, that even all the fortunate ones that won some Meet & Greet were highly warned. As off the record, I tell you that the instructions by their management were very clear "at the first tear, sign of hysteria, or the first of the girls to touch one of the four guys, the greet gets canceled". We know it wasn't by the guys, because they are really friendly, but that the rules were very strict, that is without a doubt true.

Now at the concert, we could see the true joy of the fans to see them so close. With a perfect sound, these Germans demonstrated why they are one of the most avant-garde shows of Europe, and why there were so many expectations surrounding their presentation. With Bill's unforgettable costume, his motorcycle, Tom's flaming piano, and the virtuous Gustav, and Georg's charisma, it was a concert filled with emotion, screams, girls fainting, and flames that without exaggeration were ideal to eat marshmallows.

With all the euphoria and desire to see them live and as the official magazine, we had EXCLUSIVE access to be alone with Tom, Bill, Gustav, and Georg, and aside from all that's been said and is said: they are four delightful and handsome guys. Girls, here's our last meeting with Tokio Hotel in Chile.
How did you feel with the welcome from fans in Chile?
Bill:
In the beginning it was all so nice, especially at the airport (all laugh). We felt very flattered, happy, and expectant of what we'd live through in Chile.

When we spoke a month and a half ago, you told me that you'd allow yourselves to be surprised. Did Chile manage to do it?
Bill:
The bad thing is we were not able to leave the hotel, so we made an effort to look out the window. What we could see was very beautiful, but there was no use to go out anywhere. Only Gustav went to a little market, to buy some things and he had a good time, even though he doesn't remember the name (Pueblito de los Dominicos).
Georg: Ah, but there is something that will never let us forget Chile. Right Bill?
Bill, Tom, Gustav: Yes, yes, yes (laughter).
Bill: Oh God! Never in my life had I felt an earthquake; and we had three in two days! (laughter). We felt two very strong ones and we woke up.

But...they weren't that strong.
Bill:
What do you mean no? we got really scared.
Tom: (laughs) the truth is that we did get scared.
Bill: (laughing) I already thought that I would have to get dressed and that we would be evacuated.

So we gave you your first experience with earthquakes. Poor guys!
Tom:
We had never felt one. It was...our first time (laughter).

But come on! they were two small ones. So then, with the 8.8 that we had last February you'd die!
Bill:
No!!! I don't believe you (Bill stand up and sits back down). You think that could happen again, while we are still here?

I think that...hmmm...
Bill:
Oh no, please...(Bill makes a fainting gesture).

Hahahaha, no, I promise that will not happen again...for now.
Tom:
With luck, because we would not know what to do (laughs). And for "someone" to go out for evacuation just out of bed, would be a really good photo (laughter).

Let's change the subject, let's talk about Best Of. The album is ready. What do you expect from it, and what does it feel to now have a Greatest Hits?
Bill:
On one hand if feels somewhat strange to have a Best Of so soon, but on the other hand we are proud to have so many hits to be able to make one. I can tell you that there are two new songs on the album, and one of them was recorded in 2002, Mädchen aus dem All (Girl From Outer Space)
Tom: Yes, and even Bill's voice is different, because the song was recorded before his voice changed (laughs).
Bill: Yea, and also it has another song, Hurricanes and Suns, recorded in 2009.

Let's talk about Bill and Tom's change of country. Was it based on a work strategy, to write and record? It's been said that it's due, in large part, by the fans' stalking, is that so?
Tom:
The truth is that we feel incredible in Los Angeles, in regards to our private life (laughs). We recorded and wrote the majority of the songs from our last album in LA.

And what's going on with Gustav and Georg? Why did you stay in Germany?
Gustav:
For family, and friends, they are all in Germany (they all laugh). Don't look at us like that! I'll tell you, the thing is that Bill and Tom have no friends and no one likes them (laughter).
Tom: That is true (laughter) we have no friends.

If there is something that has come to my attention, it's the campaign in which Tom and Bill supported PETA. How was it and how do you feel about animals?
Tom:
Very nice photos (they all laugh).
Bill: We love animals so much. We have four beautiful dogs and the four we adopted from shelters.
Tom: Yes, and it's been two years that we are vegetarians.
Bill: Peta called us to support the specific campaign to free wild animals from the circus, and immediately we said yes, since we identify with it so much.

With such a good heart, have you worked on other campaigns in Germany?
Bill:
For now it is our only project, but we are very interested in continuing along the lines of animals, and if it's possible, to have our very own project.

I ask you because Tokio Hotel is donating a music classroom to a school. What do you feel about the chance that Icon Group gives you to provide culture to kids that don't have the same opportunities you had?
Bill:
It is a contribution that we are happy to give, since we were blessed with having a father and mother that were in the music world. We always had the possibility of making music, because we had the access to it, so being able to help other kids that don't have the means, is a great joy to us.

Some farewell words?
Bill:
Infinite thank you, to the fans for the support we have felt these past days. Truthfully, we will never forget Chile...and not only for the earthquakes (laughter).

Vielleicht gerade wegen all der Abertausenden kreischenden Mädchen.

Bill Kaulitz is on his way to become a serious pop artist
Bill Kaulitz is a border crosser. The 21-year-old is a singer, model, advertising character and voice actor – and on his way to become a serious pop artist – but not everyone has noticed it yet.

They searched but didn't recognize him, as he stood in front of them. In the year 2003 Sat 1 [German TV channel] searched for a star, and met Bill Kaulitz. "Star Search" was the name of the Casting show. The 13-year-old Bill, his twin brother Tom and two friends "are making Independent-music according to their own statements", Kai Pflaume [moderator] explained back then, before Bill had entered the first TV stage of his life.

Breathlessly, the little boy with the Little-Vampire-hairstyle and black eyeliner around his eyes, sang the Weather Girls song "It's raining men" and was fidgeting frenziedly with his arms. Afterwards he had to listen to amusements about his flamboyant outfit. He was doing it politely and charming and turned towards the jury with a gorgeous smile.

Hugo Egon Balder [jury member] advised him to follow the comedy direction, because he said his voice is so "funny". Only Jasmin Wagner [another jury member], formerly known as "Blümchen" [engl.: floret; her artist's name], saw his potential. "Congratulations to this performance", she said obviously impressed: "You spare a record company a lot of work." Image advisers, styling experts – with Bill there is no need for all that. "You already bring along all of these things." She topped off with the sentence: "And I think if you continue, it can just go to the top." Balder and the other jury members chose an 11-year-old rapper instead of Bill though.

The friends, with whom the Kaulitz-brothers had already made music back then, are called Georg and Gustav. Nowadays the band is known as Tokio Hotel among all girls in Germany, Spain, Mexico, France, Canada, Israel and soon also the USA. But Bill's exceptional talent is still being unrecognized in a way. Maybe because of exactly those thousands and thousands of screaming girls.

Bill Kaulitz is a border crosser. He is a singer, model, advertising character and voice actor. With plenty of make up in his inconceivably pretty face, he overcomes the border between man and woman, which has an reflexive effect on the rumor that he's homosexual. May he confess not being gay as often as he wants. The sexual ambiguity simply belongs to his image – what confuses much more is, that his identical twin Tom goes around dressed up as normal boy. But Bill Kaulitz reminds of David Bowie, who had established the game with the gender roles as Ziggy Stardust only in the early 70's in the mainstream.

Nothing gets more punished among children than otherness. Obviously Bill has not cared about that all the while. Of course, he hated the school days in the 670-inhabitant-hicksville Loitsche. The reasons are obvious. How are pubescent most likely to react when seeing a guy with black dyed hair, whose hairstyle is as asymmetric as the style of his self-tailored pants? A rhetorical question. He's still doing his own thing unwaveringly. At the age of 9, the twins sing at village fairs, at the age of 12 they get to know Georg and Gustav in a club in Magdeburg and found the band Devilish. One year later, after Bill's performance at "Star Search", the music producer Peter Hoffmann went to exactly this club to see the band perform.

"In microcosm there just happened exactly that thing, which is going on at today's big concerts.", he remembers: "Screaming girls in the front row, mashing boys behind." Hoffmann invites them to his studio in Vögelsen in Lower Saxony, in the Lüneburg Heath. The boys get music- and singing lessons. Devilish becomes Tokio Hotel. They signed a contract with Sony BMG, but after half a year the record company got cold feet. The responsible manager dismisses the band. Sony BMG let slip a multi-million dollar business, the manager lost his job. Instead of them, Universal, Sony BMG's strongest competitor, has one hit after another with the band. Three albums have been released so far. A few days ago, a Best-Of-double-album was released. A CD with the songs in German, a CD with the same songs in English. The big mistake that has settled in the heads of clueless adults is, that Tokio Hotel is a casted boygroup. They have never been. Well, Bill and Tom already wanted to become rockstars when they were in second grade. But so the Rolling Stones had wanted, long before they actually became [rockstars]. The today 21-year-old Tokio-Hotel-frontman is more than just the head of an ageing teenager band with some pop ditties, that makes the masses scream. Kaulitz is one of those humans with unique charisma: androgynous, dramatic, glamorous. His band is getting less and less Nena, but more and more Nirvana.

A few weeks ago, arte [German TV channel] helped to make people as from 30, that have no daughter who's into Tokio Hotel, call attention to this young man. The culture channel showed an episode of its series "Durch die Nacht mit…" [Through the night with…]. In this episode Bill Kaulitz met Wolfgang Joop – and not only the fashion designer has been over the moon with Bill since then. But one could have already known this a long time before. But nobody, who's not in love with one of the Kaulitz-twins or Georg or Gustav, comes up with the idea to watch videos on their homepage or to attend a Tokio Hotel concert. Otherwise much more people would have already noticed that the girls, who had thrown "Diddle"-mice or bras on stage in the past, simply recognized who stands in front of them: an extraordinary young man, who has got what it takes to become a world star.

Tokio Hotel erstmals in Tokio

Tokio Hotel for the first time in Tokyo

The young japanese girls yearned for this moment for so long: When the Band, Tokio Hotel, entered the Hall of residence of the German ambassador in Tokyo smiling, a dozen young japanese girls and pupils of the german school in Yokohama started to scream in delight.

Ambassador Volker Stanzel didn't keep them in suspense for long, now they have the chance to ask the band what they've always wanted to ask them: A girl wants to know what impression they had of japanese girls. Actually she wanted to have her question answered by Bill Kaulitz, but he prefers to pass the mic to his twin brother Tom: «There are also some pretty girls here», he says smiling and the girls melt away.

Tokio Hotel in Tokyo for the first time ever. But this visit won't be the last. «We are amazed that we have so many fans here. We didn't expect that.», says Bill. Already at the airport the brothers and their two other band members, Georg Listing (Bass) and Gustav Schäfer (Drums), were welcomed with self-made christmas presents like Origami Christmas Cards.

The reactions of their female fans might be similar to the ones of their female fans in Germany…«But, I have to say that the girls here are a bit reserved, a little shy, which I find totally cute», says Bill, his black rimmed eyes twinkling. With his stylish Outfit – a military jacket, a black shirt underneath and an amunition belt strapped diagonally across his chest – he fits perfectly into Tokyo and the youth scene of the capital, according to his japanese Fans.

And despite having the word "Tokio" in their Band name, they know almost nothing about Japan. They chose "Tokio" because it would have been a target which they would always have dreamed about reaching, but «never could have imagined to visit it as a Band», says Tom. «When we started, I didn't know a thing about Mangas or anything else from Japan», Bill admits. They said that they heard about the japanese Pop-Music, J-Pop, but…«We don't really have a clue». But this will change. For the start, only a few days in Japan – a performance at the german embassy, followed by a little showcase for advertising purposes in front of invited guests – are planned.

But that's not all: In the next few months more visits to Japan are planned. «We are currently retreating into our creative time in the studio», says Tom. «The Japan-Trips are the only thing which we'll be doing besides being in the studio.» A japanese tour will probably take place after the release of a new album. Tokio Hotel just recently released their «Best Of»-Album.

In any case, they already conquered the hearts of their female fans. «Ich liebe Dich», a young japanese girl stutters in german. Another girl, which travelled to Japan from a far away Province in a black Tokio-Hotel-T-Shirt, practices her german before the signing session in the embassy: «Ich möchte Dich heiraten» ["I want to marry you"]. And a married 30-year old japanese women asks a german reporter to teach her a sentence she wants to say to Bill and Tom: «Ich wollte, ich hätte Euch zur Welt gebracht». ["I wish I had given birth to you"].

NEW BILD.de ARTICLE ! ♥

PETA CAMPAIGN - VIDEO/TRANSLATION ! ♥

VIDEO - Shooting With Bill & Tom

Translation

Bill: Tom and I are vegetarians, but above all we don't want animals to be tortured and have to live in a circus. Animals have to do this, you have to imagine that, and are responsible for the amusement of people.
That's why we took some photos today and put ourselves in chains. In the first moment people think, that it is funny and that the animals have fun, but the reality is of course different. Of course the animals were not kept species-appropriate, and for running so nicly in the round, training is necessary and here and there a few slaps.

Tom: There are always parents, who go to the circus, with their very little children. The little children know nothing about the source, and that's why parents have to develop the awareness, that this is not okay.

Bill: Otherwise there is a wonderful circus with artists, there, everyone can go. We did it also.

Tom: Now the second motive, now we are in the cage...

Questioner: Can you empathize with a caged animal?

Tom: No, I don't think so. It's a thousand times worse. We are only here for ten minutes to take a picture, but that's already enough.

Bill: We see a lot with animals in showbusiness in general, whether TV-Shows, performances, video-shoots, that was something, that we strictly denied.

An animal doesn't get it, it's just caged and I can't stand it. If I think about it, I am at once in tears.

The first dog that we got from the animal shelter was seriously injured. He has burn-scars all over his ears, because the former owner stubbed out their cigarettes on it. He has bad teeth, because as puppy they gave him beer to drink. These are expierences, which characterized us.

Hey, we are Bill and Tom from Tokio Hotel and we support Peta. Don't let the wild-animals down, they belong in the wild and not in the circus. And to support all of this, go on

TOKIO HOTEL SAVE EUROPE'S HONOUR AT 2010 EMA'S ! ♥

With an awards show called "European Music Awards" one could assume that these are European Acts which take the prizes home – but obviously not!

There was only one winner from Europe in the MTV EMA 2010 Awards.
And they are called Tokio Hotel.

In this category, "Best World Stage Performance" (the best appearance in the MTV World Stage show), four inhabitants of Magdeburg prevailed – and they can be really proud of it – they were up against US stars like pop singer Katy Perry and the rockers of Green Day. They could just still save the pop honour of their continent with it!

BUT, EUROPE: WHERE ARE YOUR SUPERSTARS?

Apart from Tokio Hotel, the Awards were dominated mostly by American stars. Besides, some European Acts were nominated!
